C.I.D. Moosa

C.I.D.Moosa is a 2003 Malayalam slapstick comedy film written by the duo Udayakrishna and Siby K. Thomas, directed by Johny Antony, and coproduced by and starring Dileep in the title role. The film also stars Harisree Ashokan, Cochin Haneefa, Jagathy Sreekumar, Bhavana, Oduvil Unnikrishnan, Saleem Kumar, and Ashish Vidyarthi. The film is a parody of the spy genre such as the James Bond series and C.I.D. Nazeer. It is considered as one of the most popular and most loved movie of Dileeps career .

The movie starts with Khaled Muhammad aka BabaSharat Saxena in jail telling one of his henchmen to kill the kerala chief minister Ravi MenonMurali.SahadevanDileep is the son of a police constableOduvil Unnikrishnan who works in the dog squad. Sahadevan has only one ambition and that is to join the police department and for that he has cleared the exams and is waiting for the physical test. But he has an enemy, his own brotherinlaw PeethambaranJagathy Sreekumar who does not like him.Some of Babas henchmen with the help of commissioner Gauri shankarAshish Vidyarthi plan to kill the CM by placing a bomb in his room in the hospital when Ravi Menon was unwell.However Sahadevan foils the plan as his dog Arjun sacrifices himself. The blame is put on him by the police commissioner but he is saved by the DGPVijayaraghavan. Because the commissioner is aware of Sahadevans knowings about the bomb plan,he along with Peethambaran deliberately fails him in the physical test. When he finds out who the crooks are, he tries to find a way to foil it and that hope was to become a private detective via his uncle KaramchandCaptain Raju. He becomes a private detective and calls himself CID Moosa,Shortform of Moolamkushiyil Sahadevan. He has a funky car that do different tricks to assist him in evading his enemies. During all of this he falls in love with a girl named Meena Bhavana.After innumerable attempts,he makes her fall in love with him.Meanwhile,he managed to intercept the first terrorists who planned to place the bomb in the hospital. Gauri in anger destroys Moosas office saying it doesnt have license.When Moosa goes to the CM for a petition,the CMs car explodes.Moosa is applauded for saving him.Then he kills the second terrorist and gets a Rs.5 lakhs as a reward. Meena then told Moosa that those terrorists were sharing tenants in her house and filed a case to the commissioner not realising that she would be arrested as soon as she reached her flat.the commissioner tries to molest
